16th Annual, “In Search of a Cure” Golf Outing

On Thursday July, 28th the HomeBase team brought our land yacht to Silver Lakes Country Club to join the Teamsters Joint Council 25 and Teamsters Local 731 for the 16th Annual, “In Search of a Cure” Golf outing.  The outing honors Teamsters Local 731 President Terry Hancock’s autistic son, Bryan.

Hancock founded “In Search of a Cure” to help raise money and awareness for Autism research. Over the course of more than 15 years, they have raised over $5 million. We were honored to support the remarkable work that Terry and the Hancock family do for Autism research. Terry’s work serves as a reminder of what it means to give back and work hard for those that need it most.

Our land yacht was stationed on hole #4 of the course, where our team provided the golfers with refreshments and great conversation. We discussed the opportunities that HomeBase provides – specifically, the cost-free union benefit that assists home buyers and home sellers.

All proceeds from the outing go towards Autism research.  For more information or to donate, visit: http://www.insearchofacure.org/
